Fatigue verification for reinforcing and prestressing steel: the value of γF,fat and the parameters for S-N curves

The damage of a single stress range Δσ may be determined by using the corresponding S-N curves (Figure 6.30) for reinforcing and prestressing steel. The applied load should be multiplied by γF,fat. The resisting stress range at N* cycles ΔσRsk obtained should be devided by the safety factor γS,fat.
The value of γF,fat for fatigue verification is given in § 18.104.22.168 (1).
The recommended values of parameters for S-N curves for fatigue verification are given in Table 6.3N (reinforcing steel) and 6.4N (prestressing steel).
