Beams: the ratio of bottom reinforcement area at an end supports for anchorage β2
Eurocode 2 part 1-1: Design of concrete structures 9.2.1.4 (1)
The area of bottom reinforcement provided at end supports with little or no end fixity assumed in design, should be at least β2 of the area of steel provided in the span.
Recommendation
The recommended value for the reinforcement ratio β2 is 0,25.
