The recommended value for the minimum area reinforcement `A _{s,min}` is:

A = (0,10 _{s,min}N ≥ 0,002 _{Ed})/f_{yd}A _{c} | (9.12N) |

where:

`N`_{Ed}- is the design axial compression force
`f`_{yd}- is the design yield strength of the reinforcement,
`f`=_{yd}`f`/_{yk}`γ`_{S}
