Design compressive strength of lightweight aggregated concrete: the coefficient αlcc
Eurocode 2 part 1-1: Design of concrete structures 11.3.5 (1)P
The value of the design compressive strength is defined as:

where:
- γC
- is the partial safety factor for concrete, see § 2.4.2.4 (1), § 2.4.2.4 (2) and § 2.4.2.4 (3)
- αlcc
- is a coefficient according to § 3.1.6 (1)P (the coefficient taking account of long term effects on on the compressive strength and of unfavourable effects resulting from the way the load is applied).
Recommendation
The recommended value of αlcc is 0,85
