Use of bundled bars for lightweight aggregate concrete members
Eurocode 2 part 2: Design of concrete bridge structures 11.9 (101)
For lightweight aggregate concrete, bundles of bars should not consist of more than two bars and the equivalent diameter should not exceed 45 mm.
Recommendation
The use of bundled bars may be restricted by the National Annex.
